01. Information you share

When you contact Mary Beth through this website, we receive the details you submit, such as your first and last name, email address, optional phone number, message, and whether you are interested in buying, selling, learning about Smith Lake, or requesting a property valuation. Depending on your selections, you may also provide a property address, budget range, timing, preferences, or other answers about your plans.

Please share only what is relevant to your inquiry. Do not submit Social Security numbers, banking details, account passwords, identification documents, or other sensitive financial information through these forms.

02. How your information is used

We use your inquiry to respond, understand your real estate goals, answer property questions, and follow up about the services you requested. We also use technical information to operate the website, limit spam, troubleshoot problems, and protect the site.

Submitting an inquiry does not enroll you in an automated marketing newsletter or authorize automated promotional calls or texts. You can ask us to stop optional follow-up communications using the contact details below.

03. Where inquiries go

Your submission is saved in the website’s inquiry database and sent as an email notification to office@smithlakerealty.com. Authorized website administrators can view inquiries in a restricted dashboard. A saved inquiry remains available to the business if its email notification fails.

The website is hosted through OpenAI’s Sites service using Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare provides database storage and storage for website images. Resend processes the inquiry notification, including the contact details and message needed to deliver it. Our business email provider also processes and stores the resulting email correspondence.

We share information with service providers as needed to operate these features. We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security issues, or legal claims.

04. Technical information, cookies & maps

Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser or device information, request details, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. For form abuse prevention, the website stores a one-way value derived from the request’s IP address and the date. This helps limit repeated submissions; it is not a promise that all technical information is anonymous.

The website does not currently include analytics tools or advertising pixels. Essential cookies or similar technologies may be used by hosting, security, and sign-in services. Authorized administrators sign in through ChatGPT; the dashboard checks the signed-in account’s identity and email address.

Interactive maps load tiles from OpenStreetMap, and website fonts load from Google Fonts. Loading these resources sends normal network-request information, including your IP address, to those providers. Social icons and links to property listings, venues, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.

You can manage cookies through your browser, although blocking essential cookies may affect sign-in or other features.

05. Retention & security

Inquiry information may remain in the website’s records and business email correspondence while we handle your request, maintain a client relationship, or keep records needed for business, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes. The inquiry inbox does not currently delete submissions on an automatic schedule. You can contact us to ask about information you have submitted or request its deletion.

We use safeguards such as HTTPS, restricted dashboard access, and server-side secret storage. No website, email service, or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

06. Your choices & privacy requests

You can choose not to submit a form and contact Mary Beth by phone instead. To ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or stop optional follow-up, email office@smithlakerealty.com or call 205-388-0883. Identify the email address used for your inquiry so we can locate the relevant records. Please do not send identification documents unless we arrange a suitable method with you.

We review requests and may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons. Available rights and any exceptions depend on applicable law.
